Straight answers

What can I push?

A React app (App.tsx) for the screen and Python jobs for the schedule. Not Streamlit, Next.js or containers today.

Can I start without asking IT?

Yes. Create your own workspace, where you are the admin, and build tonight on a CSV, an Excel file or a Google Sheet. The ERP is connected by an admin, once, in the company workspace, and the same app folder deploys there too.

Do I need git?

No. Ronja keeps a restorable version of every publish. Git stays optional and stays yours; Ronja does not host repos or pull requests.

I built it in something else. Do I start over?

Not from scratch. Ronja runs React apps (App.tsx) and Python jobs, not Streamlit, Next.js or containers. Ask Claude to rebuild yours as a Ronja app; ronja context gives it Ronja’s own guides. What you keep is the logic and the layout you already worked out.

What can Claude see of our data?

Only the tables your app declares, and only ones you could already reach yourself. Never a key. Never the raw source system. One thing to know: an app shows the same rows to everyone who can open it, so who may open it is the control. While you build, the rows Claude reads through ronja query go to Claude under your own Claude plan, not through Ronja.

What happens when it breaks?

An admin gets a failure alert. You restore the last version that worked, or push a fix as a draft. Every run keeps its log for about a year.

What does it cost the company?

From $50 a month per workspace, plus $1 a credit after the first 100. Credits never expire, and there is no card on file until you add one. Review, versions, the audit log, EU processing and the data processing agreement are on that plan, not behind an enterprise contract.

Does it work on Windows?

Not natively today. The CLI ships for Mac and Linux. On Windows, ask Claude to set up WSL (a Linux that runs inside Windows) and install the Linux build there. Claude walks you through that setup.

Or paste one line into Claude Code:Read /agent.md and set me up on Ronja.
Is this the same Ronja as ronja.tech?

Same company, same platform, same certificate. ronja.tech is for companies that want Ronja to build and run whole systems for them. This is for people who build themselves, with Claude, and need a place at work for it to run.
